The Modern Building Alliance has today announced the launch of its website. The Alliance of trade associations and companies, of which ISOPA is a member, represents the plastics industry in the construction sector.
The Modern Building Alliance, created in early 2018, seeks to engage with policy makers and stakeholders in order to support the EU in ensuring safe and sustainable construction. This is the first website of its kind aiming to highlight the contribution of a wide range of plastic products to sustainable construction and to provide accurate and reliable information about the fire safety of buildings in Europe.
As polyurethane is one of these products, ISOPA gives its full support to the Alliance’s ambition for improved fire safety across the construction industry in the EU. The safe use of plastics within the construction sector, along with improving the fire safety of buildings is a joint responsibility of the whole value chain involved in building and construction.
