ISOPA has just concluded and published the update of the eco-profiles of Methylenediphenyl diisocyanate (MDI), Toluene Diisocyanate (TDI) and Short- and Long Chain Polyether Polyols.
The study was carried out by PE INTERNATIONAL AG and peer reviewed by DEKRA Industrial GmbH in accordance with the PlasticsEurope’s Eco-profiles and Environmental Declarations – LCI Methodology and PCR for Uncompounded Polymer Resins and Reactive Polymer Precursors (PCR version 2.0, April 2011), which is in conformity with the International Standards ISO 14040, 14044 and 14025.
Thanks to the active participation and engagement of ISOPA member companies, the results cover 90% of all European producers for each of the substances and therefore provides a very good representativeness of the European production in 2010. All these reports and data sets can be downloaded from the PlasticsEurope website.
