ISOPA launches a new driver training platform for diisocyanates transporters

On the 1st of December, ISOPA launches a new platform to train drivers for the safe transportation of diisocyanates in Europe. This industry initiative, targeted for diisocyanates transport companies collaborating with our ISOPA member companies, contains an update of the training material with new slides and videos, a digitalization of registrations, and an automatization of the certification process.

Why a new driver training platform?

The safe loading, transportation and unloading of diisocyanates is of paramount importance for ISOPA and their transportation partners. In 20 years, more than 10 000 drivers have been certified after following the ISOPA Driver Training. Today, the system has been improved to satisfy the highest safety standards and regulatory developments, but also to digitalize and automate the process.

What you need to know

The new platform offers new options and gives greater autonomy for trainers and administrators to manage the training and the certification of their drivers:

– The new training package includes new content in 11 languages, including videos.

– Trainers and administrators can now manage their drivers’ profiles, add or remove them from the database, invite them to trainings and tests, and validate their certificates.

– The tests to obtain a driver certificate are available online in 11 languages and can be completed on a smartphone or a computer. After the test is successfully taken, a certificate with a QR code is automatically sent to the driver. The new certificate will progressively replace the existing cards, which will remain valid until their expiry date.

– Certification checks are now possible directly at every (un)loading station with the QR code.

If you are interested in organizing trainings for your drivers and to certify them, please contact us or our member companies directly.
