ISOPA is delighted to hear that Germany will adapt its law on self service prohibition of the sale of products containing MDI.
According to REACH mixtures containing the substance can be safely placed on the market for the general public provided the packaging contains protective gloves and relevant health warnings. MDI products will soon be available in self service for the general public again.
Germany is in the process of amending existing legislation and which is expected to go in force 1st June 2015.
