ISOPA Mutual Aid System

ISOPA members renew the mutual aid system in case of incidents for safe transport of MDI and TDI

Last week, member companies of ISOPA renewed their commitment to the mutual aid system in case of incidents for transport of MDI and TDI.

The safe transport of diisocyanates is essential to its manufacturers and to society. All actors of the supply chain, manufacturers, transporters, and receivers of the end products have a vital role to play. The mutual aid scheme is a voluntary pledge of all ISOPA members to assist each other in the best way possible in case of incidents during the transport of TDI and MDI.

This announcement is an integral part of ISOPA’s approach to product stewardship. ISOPA has long been committed to the continuous increase of standards in the loading, transport, unloading and storage of diisocyanates and polyols to ensure maximum protection of health and safety and a consistent industry wide approach.
